When and where are the services? • Sundays @ 10:50am and 6:00pm; Wednesdays @ 6:30pm • We meet in the Worship Building (the big building with the white steeple on top) at 300 S.Elm street Madisonville, TX. • We also have Bible study groups for all ages @ 9:30am each Sunday. Adult groups meet in the Education Building, K-5th meet at Children’s Ministry Building. Students 6th-12th grade meet in The Loft on the second floor of the Family Life Building. Where do I park? • We have designated parking for first time guests in the main parking lot on West Trinity Street and in the main lot on Elm Street. What about my kids? • We love kids of all ages! Our children’s ministry works with infants through 5th grade. Safe and secure check-in for all children and loving adults to be with them throughout the morning. • Bible study groups for all children begin @ 9:30am. • We also have worship services designed just for kids: Worship 101 @ 10:45am in the Children's Ministry Building (1st-5th grade) and Wiggle Worship (nursery) on the 1st floor of the Education Building (birth-Kindergarten). What do I wear? • There is no dress code. Most wear what they wear any other day. It's pretty hard to feel out of place. What are the services like? • We're not very high on tradition or ritual, but we do practice consistent forms of worship: studying the Bible together, praying, giving financially, singing, and monthly, the Lord’s Supper (communion). • We do receive an offering; however, if you don't call First Baptist your church home, there is no expectation of financial giving. • The music is "normal"--the energy, volume, and experience is what you'd expect of any live event, but the content proclaims Jesus as Savior and Lord.
