WHAT WE DO
There is no unique mission for any church—the mission is universal and the same for every Christian congregation. However, every church is unique in location and may have unique methods in carrying out the mission. But still, the mission is unchanged—the Great Commission: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19–20 We want to see FBC Madisonville live out the Great Commission for the glory of God. We hope to achieve this by coming alongside our church family and helping them in three specific ways: The Mission of First Baptist Church of Madisonville is to inviting others To Know God, Grow in Christ, and Go in the Power of the Holy Spirit.
